The Enlisted Kidney Foundation wasn't created in a boardroom.
It was created through deployments, toxic exposure, rare kidney disease, endless medical appointments, difficult conversations, and the realization that too many people were trying to navigate kidney disease alone.
When you're first diagnosed, the questions come quickly.

Unfortunately, many patients never get those answers.
That's why EKF exists.
Not to replace your medical team...

Why Veterans Need a Different Conversation
Veterans face challenges many people never have to think about.
Some have been exposed to toxic chemicals.
Others are navigating the VA healthcare system.
Many are balancing kidney disease alongside PTSD, chronic pain, diabetes, hypertension, or other service-connected conditions.
The journey can feel overwhelming.
At EKF, we understand because we've lived it.
