Filtering IN those who have been Filtered OUT

🇺🇸 Supporting Our Veterans
Enlisted Kidney Foundation stands shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the Veterans who’ve been exposed to toxic chemicals, including PFAS “forever chemicals,” and are now living with kidney disease. We help them connect their service‑related exposures to their current health, navigate VA benefits under the PACT Act, and prepare stronger claims so they are not left behind.
EKF also supports national efforts like H.R. 3639, the Veterans Exposed to Toxic PFAS Act, to secure presumptive recognition and better care for Veterans and families harmed by PFAS‑contaminated bases. Because no warrior should have to battle kidney disease alone.

🌍 Reaching Every Community
Enlisted Kidney Foundation works to close the gaps in kidney health for communities too often overlooked by the healthcare system—especially Black and Brown communities where kidney disease hits hardest.
Through grassroots outreach, culturally informed education, and early‑awareness efforts, we bring trusted kidney health resources directly into the neighborhoods we serve. We share clear information about genetic risks like APOL1, encourage early screening, and equip families to advocate for themselves so awareness becomes action and prevention becomes power.
Because real impact happens when people feel seen, informed, and supported—not filtered out.
💚 Impacting Patients & Caregivers
Enlisted Kidney Foundation turns lived experience into real‑world impact for kidney patients and the families who care for them. In our first year alone, we reached over 140,000 people, supported nearly 100 Veterans, and provided more than 100 one‑on‑one navigation sessions—connecting patients and caregivers to clear information, trusted resources, and hope.
Our work has earned national recognition, including the 2024 NephCure Impact Award and honors from the HopeWill Foundation, and our patient voice has helped shape national conversations on toxic exposure, the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022, and patient‑informed research.
As EKF grows, we’re expanding education, mentorship, and advocacy so more patients and caregivers feel informed, represented, and never alone in their kidney journey—because when caregivers are supported, outcomes improve and hope grows.
Empowering Voices. Driving Change. Supporting Warriors.
